ABSTRACT Psychometric properties were explored for scores on the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI), a commonly used self‐report instrument for identifying personal and emotional growth after the occurrence of a trauma. A total of 248 studies published between 1996 and 2024 meeting inclusion criteria were reviewed and analyzed for relevant psychometric characteristics. The total score grand internal consistency coefficient was .933 (95% CI [.924, .942]), while subscale internal consistencies ranged from .761 to .854.
