This study examined changes in technical competency and production performance following employee training and skills development in coin manufacturing operations. Using a quantitative one-group pretest–posttest design with a correlational component, all 12 coin press machine operators were assessed through a five-level competency skills matrix and official production records over 36 operating days before and 36 operating days after training. Wilcoxon signed-rank tests, paired-samples t-tests, and Spearman's rank-order correlations were employed. Overall technical competency increased from 3.1
