Background/Aim: Night and rotating shift work are inherent to 24/7 intensive care units (ICUs), but they can disrupt circadian rhythms, affect sleep, and increase physiological and cognitive strain in nurses. This study aimed to describe the self-reported physical health, psychological well-being, job performance, and perceived patient-care quality of ICU nurses in relation to night-shift work.
